Growth analytics

Know what grows your server

Invite counts tell you who brings people in. Growth analytics tell you whether they stay, which links work and how your server is doing month after month.

  • Joins, leaves, net growth and retention
  • Sources: invite links, vanity URL, bots and unknown
  • Top links and top inviters, with labels for your links
  • Automatic reports, pinned charts and CSV exports

How it works

Growth analytics, in detail

The numbers that matter

For the last 7 or 30 days, and over 90 days, a year or all time with Premium: joins, leaves, net growth, fake joins and retention, the share of real joins still on the server. A chart shows them day by day, or week and month for long periods.

Where members come from

Every join is filed under its source: an invite link, your vanity URL, a bot added by an admin, or unknown. The top links show which invites bring the most members and how many have already left.

Labels for your links

Name an invite link, such as YouTube, Partners or Event, and give a role to everyone who joins through it. Labels show up in analytics, reports and the {invite_label} variable of your messages. 1 labelled link free, 500 with Premium.

Top inviters

On Premium servers, see the inviters who bring members that stay, with how many they invited, how many left and their retention. List the members invited by one person, one link, one label or one role, and export the list.

Reports in your channel

A growth report posts itself after each month on every plan, with joins, leaves, net growth and the top 3 inviters. Premium adds a weekly report, the retention, the top 5 links and a chart, and /report preview shows it any time.

Charts and exports

Premium servers pin live charts of joins, leaves or both in a channel, redrawn every 15 minutes, and export up to 50,000 join and leave events to CSV. Free servers keep 32 days of events; Premium keeps everything.

Common questions

More in the documentation.

What is retention?

The share of real joins of the period whose member is still on the server. Fake joins are left out, so alt accounts do not make it look better or worse.

Why are some joins unknown?

Discord does not say which invite a member used. When several invites are used at the same moment, or the bot lacks a permission, it cannot tell, and files the join as unknown rather than guess.

Is any of it free?

Yes: the 7 and 30 day views, sources, top links, 1 invite label and the monthly report. Premium adds 90 days, a year and all time, top inviters, invited lists, weekly reports, pinned charts and CSV exports.
