Answers to the questions we get most often.
General#
Is InviteCount free?
Yes. Every module has a free version with no time limit. Premium raises the limits and unlocks advanced options.
Does InviteCount have a prefix?
No. InviteCount uses slash commands only. Type / to see them.
Which permissions does InviteCount need?
Manage Server and Manage Channels are required to track invites. The other permissions depend on the modules you use. See Permissions, or run /check-permissions.
In which languages is InviteCount available?
The dashboard is available in 16 languages. The bot's messages in Discord are in English; the messages you write (join messages, panels…) can be in any language.
Invite tracking#
Why are invites not tracked?
Check that the bot has Manage Server and Manage Channels. Vanity links, bots added through OAuth and joins through the server widget credit no one. See Troubleshooting.
How do I count invites made before the bot joined?
Run /syncinvites. It imports Discord's use counters once, without counting a use twice.
What is a fake invite?
A join that matches the rules you choose: young account, self invite, no avatar, no banner, rejoin, or flagged by AutoMod. See Fake invites.
How do I give or remove invites by hand?
/add invites, /remove invites and /set invites change the bonus, fake or leave counters. See Management.
Can I reward members for their invites?
Give a role to members who join through a given link with invite labels, get alerted at invite milestones with invite alerts (Premium), and show the best inviters in a leaderboard.
Dashboard and Premium#
I can't see my server on the dashboard.
You need the Manage Server permission on it. Click Refresh the list, or log out and in again.
I subscribed on Patreon, but I don't have Premium.
Link your Discord account in your Patreon settings, wait up to 5 minutes, then activate the server from My premium or with /premium add. See Activate Premium.
Do I lose my settings when Premium ends?
No. Everything stays saved and comes back with Premium. See When Premium ends.
Data#
What happens to my data if I remove the bot?
Member data is deleted 90 days after the bot leaves, unless you add it back before. Settings are kept. See Privacy and data.
