Quick setup
Use /setup to check invite tracking and turn on join messages in a minute.
/setup gives you a short setup panel inside Discord. It covers the two things most servers want first: invite tracking that works, and a message when someone joins.
Run /setup#
- In any channel, type
/setupand press Enter. You need the Administrator permission. - The bot answers with a private panel (only you see it):
- Invite tracking status: whether the bot can read the invites of your server. If a permission is missing, the panel names it.
- A channel picker for join messages: choose a channel. Join messages are turned on in that channel, with the default text.
- Send an example: posts an example join message in the chosen channel, so you can see the result.
- A link to the dashboard, to go further.
- Only you can use the buttons of the panel.
